Pseudohalogeno Metal Compounds. LXXVII. Structure of Hexafulminatocobaltate(III), [Co(CNO) 6 ] 3– In the crystal of [AsPh 4 ] 3 [Co(CNO) 6 ] the hexafulminatocobaltate(III) anion forms an ideal octahedron with linear C≡N–O ligands and with relatively short cobalt‐carbon bonds (Co–C 191 pm). In the crystal the [AsPh 4 ] + cations “dilute” the energy rich anions.
