Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Aminoiminophosphinate Copper(I) Complex [Cu(Me 3 SiNP(Ph) 2 NSiMe 3 )] 2 The title compound 1 was prepared by the reaction of Me 3 SiNP(Ph) 2 N(SiMe 3 ) 2 with copper(I) chloride at 120 °C to give colourless crystals which were characterized by a crystal structure determination. Space group C 2/ c , Z  = 4, lattice dimensions at 193 K: a  = 1854.0(3), b  = 1256.2(3), c  = 1969.9(3) pm, β = 106.30(2)°; R 1  = 0.063. 1 forms dimeric molecules with a nonplanar Cu 2 N 4 P 2 eight‐membered ring of symmetry C 2 and a rather long Cu…Cu distance of 262.1(1) pm.
