As part of the school psychology internship at the University of South Carolina, students can choose to develop their skills in career education by designing curriculum and teaching a class in this subject along with guidance counselors. This paper presents a brief overview of the rationale of and need for this type of training approach, as well as a short description of the content of previous intern‐designed classes.
