The impact of the mutant Therabee ( Theraputa vaccua ) on the two dominant species of Psychotherapa remunerata is discussed. Physical descriptions and species‐specific behaviors are noted for all three species. Implications of the survival threat posed to the dominant species by the mutant Therabee are delineated. A call for action to investigate the potential disruption of a time‐honored ecosystem is made.
