Derivation of the 1964 CIE 10° XYZ colour‐matching functions and their applicability in photometry

The 1931 2° standard colorimetric observer can be used for photometry as well as for colorimetry. But there is confusion as to whether this applies also to the 1964 10° standard colorimetric observer. This system was derived by Judd, who did not fully report his procedure.
