This article discusses the trend of increasing value added processing of Australian agricultural commodities by agribusiness firms and the effect on agribusiness education. Six current agribusiness education programs offered in Australia are identified and examined. Proposed courses to be offered in agribusiness in the next few years are also discussed. Finally, the key factors in agribusiness education development are presented.
