Get up, stand up. Single‐wall carbon nanotubes can be chemically assembled on Au substrates by a surface condensation reaction. Cyclic voltammetry indicates that ca‐SWNTs are electrochemically addressable and behave like an array of closely spaced microelectrodes. Moreover, the ca‐SWNTs can be employed as a template surface for the electrodeposition of metals.
