Shortened single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) were dissolved in an aqueous micellar solution of a ferrocene‐carrying surfactant. Thin‐film formation from an aqueous solution of the SWNTs could then be monitored by using an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance, as shown in the graphic.
