Time slices of ground‐penetrating radar (GPR) data are developed from closely spaced profiles collected at archaeological sites in Japan and the USA. The time slices are used to remotely sense archaeological features at several burial mounds and a pit dwelling site. The methodology for creating the time slices and some of the interpretive limitations of the time slices are presented.
