A new method for the preparation of the phosphonate analogues of phosphatidyl derivatives using a Horner−Mark [2,3]‐sigmatropic rearrangement is described. Phosphonate analogues were prepared in which the sn ‐3 oxygen of the diacylglyceryl moiety is substituted by ‐HC=CH‐ or ‐CH 2 CH 2 ‐ fragments. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
