The addition of zincated allytrimethylsilane to γ‐alkoxyvinyllithiums in the presence of an excess of ZnBr 2 (and MgBr 2 ) is highly diastereoselective when performed under precise temperature conditions. A formal synthesis of serricornin is proposed.
