The optimal parameters for 31 P‐detected 103 Rh HMQC NMR spectroscopy of AMX spin systems (A = 31 P; M and X = 103 Rh) have been derived and applied to adducts of Rh 2 [( R )‐MTPA] 4 with PPh 3 ( 1 ) and a chiral phosphane ( 2 ). It is shown that all nuclei ( 1 H, 13 C, 31 P, and 103 Rh) reflect the diastereomerism of the latter complex. (© Wiley‐VCH Verlag GmbH, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2002)
