A high‐yield synthesis of atropoisomers of the meso ‐tetrakis( o ‐isonicotinoylamidophenyl)porphyrin was achieved. Depending on the crystallising solvent system, the α 2 β 2 atropoisomer leads to the formation of either 1‐D or 2‐D coordination networks in the presence of Cu(OAc) 2 .
