Abstract The cover picture shows an electrospray mass spectrum obtained with a time of flight instrument of a mixture of Cu II coordination polymers in solution. For these artificial nanostructures, electrospray mass spectrometry (ESMS) is the only analytical tool allowing an unambiguous characterisation. The largest polymer clearly identified consists of 47 units and has a molecular weight of 32901.4 D. Details are discussed in the article by E. Leize et al. on p. 573 ff.
