This letter presents a method for obtaining the time‐domain macromodel of power/ground networks for the signal integrity analysis of high‐speed integrated circuit systems. The goal of this work is to include the power/ground network of the layout system in the bounce analysis as efficiently as possible, without significantly compromising accuracy. The example demonstrates the high efficiency and high precision of this method. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 28: 224–226, 2001.
