The effects of source and load second‐harmonic impedance on spectral regrowth was experimentally investigated, and its effects were found to be significant. This paper presents two sets of matching network designs which shows a difference of up to 16 dB in spectral regrowth under large‐signal conditions. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
