Radiation from multiple circumferential slots on a coaxial cable is rigorously studied. The reflection coefficient and the far‐zone radiation field are represented in a fast convergent series, and their characteristics are investigated in terms of slot geometry and frequency. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
