The Rational Behavior Inventory (RBI) has been utilized as a measure of irrational beliefs. RBI was administered to 510 undergraduates and examined by factor analytic procedures. The derived factors were compared to the original factors derived by Shorkey and Whiteman (1977) in their construction of the Inventory. Nine of the original 11 factor patterns were approximated reasonably. Suggestions for the improvement of the Inventory were presented.
