The triplet superconductivity is investigated by using Green's function techniques in relation to ferromagnetism and ferromagnetic metal. Phase diagrams obtained from the perturbative renormalization group theory are provided, and the method is applied to some one‐dimensional ferromagnetic organic models at half‐filled and hole‐doped models. The present results predict that it is difficult to realize that the one‐dimensional hole‐doped system is the ferromagnetic metal. We also present a unified theory based on SO(5) symmetry of triplet superconductivity and ferromagnetism and the partition function in terms of a nonlinear sigma model and discuss the triplet superconductivity caused from hole‐doped ferromagnetic systems. Possible models for the triplet superconductivity are also provided. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Int J Quant Chem 80: 721–732, 2000
