The 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra of a new C 22 ‐quassinoid from Picrolemma sprucei were completely assigned. In addition to conventional 1D NMR, a variety of 2D shift‐correlated NMR experiments [ 1 H × 1 H‐COSY, 1 H × 13 C‐HMQC‐ 1 J (C,H), 1 H × 13 C‐HMBC‐ n J (C,H) ( n = 2 and 3) and 2D 1 H × 1 H‐NOESY] was used.
