We report the 13 C NMR chemical shifts of the first examples of N ‐aryl‐substituted 4 H ‐1,4‐benzothiazine 1,1‐dioxide derivatives. They were completely characterized and assigned from 13 C– 1 H (short‐ and long‐range) correlated spectra. Copyright © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
