Anomalies at 0, 4, 19, 36 and 76 °C are experimentally detected in the temperature dependences of envelope widths d e and central wavenumber ν e of the water Raman spectrum in the wavenumber range around 3450 cm −1 . The statistical two‐oscillatory model relates these parameters to variations in entropy Δ S and hydrogen bond concentration Δ c as Δ d e ∝ exp(Δ S ) and Δν e ∝ Δ c . The comparison of the experimental and model temperature dependences of ν e and d e points to the possibility of structure phase transitions in water, the hydrogen bond concentration being an order parameter.
