Kerr‐gated picosecond time‐resolved resonance Raman spectra of an enantiomerically pure ruthenium(II) diimine intercalator complex in water and acetonitrile are reported, affording the first direct temporally resolved evidence that its excited state is structurally different in the two solvents.
