A 19‐year‐old woman had a residual gallium‐sequestering mediastinal mass after treatment for Hodgkin disease. Coincidentally, she also had hyperthyroidism. The initial concern was that the mass was residual Hodgkin disease. Thymic hyperplasia has been described in association with both these conditions. The mass disappeared after treatment of her hyperthyroidism. Cancer 1992; 70:1985‐1987.
