An association is reported between endocrine tumors and adenocarcinoma of the exocrine pancreas. This became apparent in autopsy material from Hordaland County, Norway, between 1972‐1976, but had not been seen in the preceding 15 years. It was accompanied by an increase in multiple primary cancers. On the basis of the findings in the case‐matched controls, it is concluded that the increases recorded in this autopsy material are real.
