A primary multifocal intranasal malignant melanoma is reported in a 54‐year‐old black female. Diffuse pigmentation (melanosis) of nasal and maxillary sinus mucosa corresponds histologically to hyperplasia of dendritic melano‐cytes, from which cells the tumor is considered to originate.
