Tubular carcinoma of the male breast is a rare neoplasm which may have a biological behavior comparable to its counterpart in females. A case of male tubular carcinoma treated by radical mastectomy and postoperative irradiation is reported. There was a metastasis to one axillary lymph node at the time of diagnosis. No associated areas of intraductal or infiltrating scirrhous carcinoma were found. Microscopic gynecomastia was present. The patient is alive and well 8 years postoperalively.
