A retrospective study was made of embryonal carcinoma of testis in children seen at the Mayo Clinic from 1961 to 1971. Presenting features, associated congenital anomalies, clinical course, treatment programs, and survival are described. It is apparent that additional forms of therapy complementing orchiectomy may prolong survival. The role of chemotherapy in the initial management of patients with nonmetastatic embryonal carcinoma of the testis is discussed.
