Two unusual cases of immunologic deficiency complicated by development of malignant tumors are presented. Lymphocytotoxic antibody was detected in both patients, and in one case was associated with recurring lymphopenia. The immunologic defects resemble those observed in experimental animals that have been treated with antilymphocytic globulin. In one case, the tumor mainly involved the lung and showed morphological features of plasmacytoma. In the other case the tumor had the appearance of a malignant lymphoma, with features of reticulum cell or Hodgkin's sarcoma.
