Malignant lymphomas involving the gastrointestinal tract are predominantly non‐Hodgkin's varieties. Abnormal lymphoid tissue may grow to displace, invade, or encase the gastrointestinal tract at almost any level. Some varieties of malignant lymphomas arise in the abdominal area and produce malabsorption difficulties and abnormal serum proteins.
