A family is presented in which a mother and her two daughters had ovarian tumors during childhood. Arrhenoblastoma was present in both daughters, the sixth reported familial occurrence of this rare neoplasm. Thyroid adenomas also developed in several members of this family. A relationship between the tumors is strengthened by the high frequency of thyroid growths found in a separate survey of arrhenoblastoma in young women. It seems likely that this tumor complex is genetically determined, and distinct from the familial neoplastic syndromes already described.
