Malignant melanoma characteristically disseminates widely but infrequently metastasizes to the breast; primary melanoma of the breast is even rarer. Two cases of metastatic melanoma presenting as solitary breast tumors are reported, and unusual primary and metastatic sites in melanoma are discussed. A review of all metastatic tumors to the breast is presented. Conservative excision is recommended since mastectomy has not altered survival.
