A case report of a carcinoma of the breast in an 8 1/2‐year‐old girl who had one positive axillary node is presented. The patient is alive and well, free of disease, 12 years postoperative. This case is presented to support radical mastectomy as the therapy of choice for carcinoma of the breast in the prepuberal female.
