The postmortem examination of a 25‐year‐old woman, who initially had localized nodular sclerosing Hodgkin's disease, revealed disseminated lymphocytic depletion Hodgkin's disease involving the thoracic and abdominal viscera as well as the entire central nervous system. An isolated small tumor nodule was located deep within the left hepatic lobe, in spite of an uninvolved normal‐sized spleen. In addition, diffuse leptomeningeal involvement was associated with direct invasion into the adjacent brain, brainstem, cerebellum, and spinal cord. Extensive postmortem sampling enabled recognition of these unusual features of a common malignant lymphoma.
