Bleomycin was administered to 14 patients with malignant lymphoma or leukemia. In 10 patients with malignant lymphoma enlarged lymph nodes shrank, but in one patient with reticulum cell sarcoma there was no response. A decrease of leukocytosis occurred in 3 patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. The chief side effect of bleomycin was a pulmonary toxicity. There was little disturbance of hematopoiesis.
