Twenty cases of adenocarcinoma of the nasal cavity were reviewed, in which the tumors showed a marked similarity to colonic adenocarcinomas. These locally aggressive tumors had marked propensities for recurrence but seldom metastasized. Although well differentiated, this kind of tumor has a lethal potential, adequately demonstrated by the 14 deaths attributable to tumor in this series. Curative treatment is best obtained by early diagnosis and adequate surgical resection.
