Clinical and roentgenological data were analyzed from 118 patients with bone metastases from breast cancer. The roentgenologic signs of remission were outlined. Clinical improvement was obtained in four fifths of patients treated with modern chemohormonal and radiation therapy, but objective roentgenologic signs of remission could be recorded in only two fifths. In patients who received complex treatment, clinical effects appeared earlier, the period of remission was prolonged, and survival reached 48–60 months from the beginning of treatment.
