Osseous metastases in neuroblastoma. A 17‐year survival

The case history of a patient who survived for 17 years after the initial diagnosis of neuroblastoma is presented. Two unfavorable prognostic signs, older age at onset and the presence of osseous metastases, appeared to be overcome for a long period of time because of a postulated good host‐tumor relationship.
