A total of 21 human tumors (10 different types) were grown in millipore chambers planted in uterine pouches of New Zealand white rabbits. Infected tumors taken by biopsy punch from the cervix and surgically sterile tissues were successfully grown under these conditions. Immunologic studies were performed on 3 tumors grown by this method.
