This is a case report of a 49‐year‐old woman who up to now developed a sequence of 12 histologically similar well‐differentiated liposarcomas apparently of independent origin. All tumors arose in intermuscular fascial planes, except for one arising in the mediastinum. A brief review of the literature is given, and the question of metastases versus multicentric origin is discussed.
