A child with chronic granulocytic leukemia is presented who had subcutaneous nodules, severe ocular and auditory involvement, and a transient hemorrhagic diathesis. The subcutaneous nodules were composed of granulocytes in various stages of maturation. The eyes showed severe retinopathy, such as that seen in adults with CGL, plus marked constriction of the visual fields. The retinopathy cleared on chemotherapy. There was also permanent unilateral deafness and bilateral loss of vestibular function.
