Retroperitoneal teratomas are rare, and most of the reported cases are benign cystic growths found in children. A case of adenocarcinoma of bronchial epithelium arising in a retroperitoneal benign cystic teratoma with widespread metastases causing obstructive jaundice and fatal hepatic failure in a 22‐year‐old man is reported.
