A patient with hemangiopericytoma which, despite wide local excision and prophylactic cobalt irradiation, metastasized to the lung, is presented. Subsequent reduction in the size of the metastatic lesions was observed during treatment with vincristine and actinomycin D. Although the favorable response was temporary, it is the first reported objective improvement in hemangiopericytoma with chemotherapy alone.
