Future radiotherapy can expect improved clinical results with an integrated approach to cancer, with better application of radiotherapy based on radiogiologic principles, and with further developments in diagnostic procedures, physics and general technology. Our past progress has provided us with a clinical basis upon which future developments can grow to achieve the maximum control of cancer.
