Strontium‐85 bone scans are compared with the roentgenographic bone survey in 51 patients with Hodgkin's disease. The scan appears to give an earlier indication of bone involvement than the roentgenographic bone survey. Alkaline phosphatase values are of little aid in predicting Hodgkin's disease of bone because of frequently coexisting liver disease. Examples of positive scans associated with negative and positive roentgenographic findings are shown.
