Six cases of clear cell hidradenoma of the breast are reported. These are morphologically identical with their counterpart occurring in the skin. The clinical and pathologic features of the tumor are presented. The authors' reasons for believing this lesion to be a distinctive form of duct papillomatosis are presented. A brief review of the histogenesis of clear cell hidradenoma is presented and evidence is offered in support of the multipotential reserve cell theory.
