A comparison of five drugs used either sequentially or cyclically in maintenance therapy of acute leukemia of childhood is reported. The median length of maintenance for cyclic therapy was 17.8 months and for the sequential was 17.5 months. There is no significant difference in the length of maintenance with the two methods of drug usage.
