A case of hyperadrenocortirism in association with prostatic cancer is described. This rare condition was complicated further by markedly increased severity of previously controlled diabetes. Hypokalemic alkalosis, secondary to these conditions, progressed to coma mimicking intracranial pathology. The severity and complexity of these relations indicates the importance of considering cancer as a process with multiple metabolic overtones.
