Addition of local radiation after bone marrow remission in acute leukemia in children

Ten children with acute leukemia were treated with local radiation therapy following bone marrow remission. Although local infiltrates in the liver and kidney seemed to have been eliminated, the ultimate outcome in regard to relapse and survival remained unchanged.
