A family in which 7 out of 9 siblings have developed at least one malignancy is described. Three had carcinoma of the descending colon; one had carcinoma of the hepatic duct; one had carcinoma of the uterus; one had carcinoma of both ovaries and one had carcinoma of the breast and vulva. There is no known cancer in either parent or in any of the grandparents and all of the children in the third generation are living and well.
